The Healing Mountains

I just finished your awesome book, thank you for sharing. I must admit, at first I couldn’t get into the book but then the characters grabbed me. I love the message coming across that we all have a past and we can’t change that but what matters is today forward. That our God always has the door open, we are the one that closed it. This book is a book of Hope! I love seeing how Ike could have been destroyed as a baby but every child matters and how he was such a blessing to our world through his great loss of his wife and son, turning that situation from sadness to hope for others in their grief or need. Even lowly and deranged Enola, with a medical issue that caused her to do bad things, held little chance for a future, however, she also was given hope, with a new destination and a new start. I came away with thoughts that life is unfair but Gods plan in life for each of of us is hope. Well done and eagerly awaiting your next book, thank you.

The Coded Note

"The Coded Note" provides an interesting slant in the cozy mystery novella genre. Author, Steven R. Jones, incorporates a unique murder weapon into this story as he weaves two mysteries of murder and deception together. Readers will enjoy this intriguing, quick read. With further character development, I anticipate reading more books like this in the future.

The Coded Note

I loved this book of mystery! “The Coded Note”, Sarah was lonely and had few friends being a lady minister in a town that was not her own! The mystery was solved by a note from her one true friend at her death. I loved the way the writer brought me into this woman’s life as she and a detective pulled together to solve this mystery. It was a book of faith, mystery, love and lessons…….“we show love for God by loving others”!

The Healing Mountains

From the very beginning, Chapter 1, the action was full blown. I could not put the book down; in fact I read it from start to finish. Maggie's faith became so strong and she never turned back.
